X • Keep
The X • Keep links (or X/Keep for future reference on this page) display within the Admin Area Configuration pages allow store owners to hide or continue displaying configuration fields. NeuCart has many configurable options, and not all options apply to all stores; these links allow a store owner to remove fields that will never be used, or to keep fields that will be used and configured.

Usage
The links appear superimposed on the far left of options within some configuration pages. (Currently only product configuration supports this functionality.)
X
When X is clicked, the prompt will display: Are you sure you no longer want to see [Name of Field] when editing Products? If [Yes] is clicked, the field will be removed from the page and you will not see it on any other product pages.
Keep
When Keep is clicked, the prompt will display: Are you sure you want to always see [Name of Field] when editing Products? If [Yes] is clicked, the X/Keep links will be removed for that option. This option "keeps" the field in view without showing the X/Keep options in the future.
Configuration Fields
Once the status of a field has been changed via X/Keep, it is still possible to change the value later. The Configuration Fields page allows fields to be kept, hidden, and even to set default values.
