Languages Allowed

From NeuCart Documentation
Jump to: navigation, search

Languages Allowed is a configuration page in the admin area that allows a store owner to determine which languages, if any, may be displayed to customers on the customer-facing language selection page. NeuCart supports many languages, however most stores do not choose to configure their entire site in multiple languages. For store owners who want customers to be able to view pages in their native language, the settings on this page are used.

For fully-translated stores — where everything is translated, including HTML text, Category names, and Products — it is likely that only some languages are relevant to the target audience. Thus, this configuration page is used to make that determination.

Configuration

This is a simple configuration page, where checkboxes determine if a language is available or not. In addition to this page, the International Preferences option, [Store uses multiple languages], must be enabled to allow the use or more than one language.
