NeuCart's Internationalization Support has been implemented in the following manner:
- The currency symbol is configurable.
- The date format is configurable.
- All customer-facing text can be translated.
- Not all language translations are currently provided with the product. If you would like to provide a translation, you will receive a 30% discount on your cart purchase if you provide the translations to NeuCart.
- There are approximately 440 labels and phrases that require translations.
- Current translations provided with the product:
- Bulgarian
- English (default text from NeuCart; can be modified by store owners if desired)
- French
- German
- Russian
- Spanish
- Simplified Chinese
- Traditional Chinese
- The number of languages into which translations can be made is limited only by disk space and/or database character constraints. There are no limitations within NeuCart. Each language is simply a column in the database.
- NeuCart supports multiple languages. For example: customer A can view your store in French while customer B can view the store in Spanish. As the store owner, you must provide the translations for all product names, descriptions, etc.
- Order email messages to the customer will be sent using translations for the language in which they were viewing the site.
- Order notification messages emailed to the store will always be sent in the default language. This ensures that the order preparer (the person receiving the email notifications) will not need to be multi-lingual.
- The Admin portal area (configuration area) cannot be translated at this time.
